Nikhil and Shantanu presented their magnificent bridal winter collection ‘Rani Sultanate’ last week at JW Marriot, New Delhi.The entire range was showcased on a beautiful lavish set; decorative dome shaped pods were constructed for the people to sit and the entire place was lit with blue and white lights which added to the decor.
Nikhil & Shantanu’s majestic collection was truly a queen’s wardrobe, inspired by the architecture and streets of Istanbul. It had everything from trending floor length anarkalis, layered lehengas & sari gowns with fitted tops and flowy skirts to cocktail wear for women and achkans, lungis for men. The best thing about this range is that it’s not a onetime wear; women can easily make them a part of their wardrobe for other occasions well.
The exotic range also had accessories, such as crowns, handcuffs, brooches for a complete modern bridal look. Another thing which sets this collection apart from the normal wedding wear is the choice of color palette. They have used blue, grey, beige and black which is unusual and different from the bright colors which are a norm for an Indian wedding.
