REVERSE THE SUN DAMAGE

Our skin needs extra care during summer. Harmful Sun rays can cause aging before time, wrinkles, tanning and dehydration. Therefore it’s essential to protect your skin. Don’t forget to put on sunscreen before leaving your home and if possible carry it with you, so that you can apply it again, if needed.

Use shades to shield your eyes and hat or scarf to protect your hair from harmful sun rays. You can use natural face packs to reverse the damage caused by scorching sun.

De-tanning Face Pack: It normal to get a tan during summers. Use these simple homemade packs to remove tan.

  1. Plain Yogurt/curd & Besan/gram flour Pack: Yogurt has amazing health benefits. Not only it’s a great source of calcium and protein, it also has Vitamins A, B, E and C, lactic acid, zinc and phosphorus. It removes dead cells, moisturizes & softens your skin, smoothen fine lines, tightens the pores and gives a healthy glow to your skin. Besan on the other hand helps in removing tan and making your skin tone lighter. It absorbs excess oil from skin; therefore it’s also good for treating pimples.

Ingredients: Plain Yogurt (curd)- 2 tablespoons, Besan( gram flour)- 2 tablespoons

Mix both yogurt and besan. Apply the pack on a clean face and neck for fifteen to twenty minutes. Remove the pack gently with water and pat dry. If required follow it up with a moisturizer.

  1. Yogurt and lemon Pack: Lemon acts as a natural bleaching agent and has Vitamin C which helps in cell renewal. Goodness of yogurt and lemon juice removes tan and brightens your skin naturally.

Ingredients: Lime juice- 1 teaspoon,  Plain Yogurt- 1 tablespoon

Blend the ingredients. Cleanse your face and apply pack for ten to fifteen minutes and wash it off with water.

  1. Cucumber Pack

Ingredients: Cucumber- 1

Grind cucumber in a blender or grate it. Smear it on your face for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with cold water.

Face pack for Glowing Skin: Dry skin is quite a common problem in summers. Get rid of dry skin using this pack:

Honey, Yogurt and banana Face pack: Honey is a natural moisturizer and Banana is loaded with amino acids, antioxidants and vitamins which are great for a healthy skin. This pack does wonders to your skin.

Ingredients: Half banana, Yogurt- 2 tablespoon, Honey- 1teaspoon

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them properly. Cleanse your face  and  smear the pack on  face & neck and wash it off after fifteen minutes to get naturally glowing skin.

Face pack for Blemish Free Skin: Blemishes are spots or marks on the skin that includes age spots, acne, and pigmentation.

  1. Besan, Malai and Milk face pack

Ingredients: Besan – 3 tablespoons, Malai-1tablespoon, Milk-1/4 cup and turmeric-1 pinch

Combine all the ingredients properly. Clean your face and apply the pack for fifteen minutes. Gently remove the pack with water by using your fingers in circular motion.

  1. Cucumber and besan Pack:

Grate half a cucumber and squeeze out the juice and add besan to make a paste. Wash your face and apply it on your face for fifteen minutes and wash it off with water. Regular use of this pack will help in removing blemishes from your face.

In addition to that drink plenty of water (6-8 glasses) every day and also add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet to have a healthy glowing skin during summers.
